With today's post, we invite all those who visited us so far (or always wanted to) to come back for our 10-year celebration on the last December weekend of 2014!
We will re-enact our legendary move-in adventure of 2004 in the evening of Friday, December 26th, and hope that some of you can join us for that. Saturday will be a day of sun (we hope) and snow (we are pretty sure): after a leisurely breakfast, or after your arrival by télésiège or on skis with climbing skins, choose your favorite activity in the snow or around the chalet, and rejoin everybody for an afternoon Raclette. If you need to go home or want to spend the night in Evolène, descend on skis to Lana after that. Otherwise, stay overnight for star gazing, night ski touring, or just cuddling up around the Pierre ollaire. After breakfast on Sunday morning, descend into the valley (to regain your car or a post bus) on your skis, on your snowboard, on your or our sled, on your or our snow shoes, or on the télésiège (after an invigorating 30min climb).

| Celebrating then and now... |
Almost all invitations have been sent out by now. If you did not receive one, let us know! Please note that invitations always include partners and families, of course.
ReplyDeleteSadly, all responses so far are of type "thank you very much, but...". Thus, we are looking forward to hear from the brave takers :-).
A crucial piece of information that we forgot to mention: the chair lift from Lanna up to Chemeuille (slightly above our chalet) only runs until shortly after 16:00. So, if arriving on Friday, make sure you do not miss it! After that, it is time to mount climbing skins on your skis! Just keep in mind that the climb is a bit tedious (2 hours along the closed off road), and it will be dark.
